- Ox horn is made from the same protein (keratin) human hair and skin that protects epithelial cells from damage or stress, and is therefore is a suitable material to use for hair grooming.
- Its natural (its molecular make-up), and enables the combs hold in just the right amounts of moisture and lubrication from water and/or beard oils to evenly distribute through out your hair as you comb. This is why it also does not cling to hair, avoiding snags during grooming.
